Lab Report

“Shared knowledge is a crucial way of disseminating knowledge amongst scholars with uniform intellectual vitalities across different academic disciplines. [The] Lab report is an example of conclusive scholastic findings that construct data and conclusive reports to relay information to the writer’s intended audience.”

~Terrelle Williams, Class of 2023

Lab Reports are the most frequent kind of document written in engineering and can  yet little time or attention is devoted to how to write them well. The goal of lab reports: document your findings and communicate their significance. A good lab report does more than present data; it demonstrates the writer’s comprehension of the concepts behind the data. Merely recording the expected and observed results is not sufficient; you should also identify how and why differences occurred, explain how they affected your experiment, and show your understanding of the principles the experiment was designed to examine.
